[Free] Online Artist Talk + Collective Exercise in Looking
with artist Meganelizabeth Diamond.
The Sky as a Performance Site

Sat, Sept 5th, 2026 @ 2pm (SK) / 3pm (MB)

Presented in conjunction with GLIMPSE, Diamond’s solo exhibition at Godfrey Dean Art Gallery, The Sky as a Performance Site considers clouds, photography, afterimages, and the act of looking upward. Moving between artist talk, visual essay, and participatory performance, Diamond will explore sky burn an ongoing practice of staring into the sky long enough for an image to linger after it has changed and the ways photographs attempt to hold what is already disappearing.

Viewers are encouraged to tune in from an outdoor location, or from somewhere with a view of the sky.

Presented by Godfrey Dean Art Gallery. Co-Hosted by Paved Arts & BlackFlash Magazine.
