Godfrey Dean Art Gallery, in partnership with Westview United Church, present a community youth art project featuring students from Yorkton and area who were asked to display on canvas their knowledge of food security. Food security is a basic human right — around the world and here at home, some have enough to eat, and others do not.
Westview United Church has sponsored this project to emphasize the belief that all people should work together to become aware of this basic need and take action. Godfrey Dean Art Gallery is proud to partner again with Westview United Church on a community youth outreach project.
Stop by the gallery to see all of the artworks, and create your own message or reflection about food security at the interactive art station.
The Food Security Community Youth Art Project will be on display through September 2023.
